Bridgwater Carnival Import Process

Results Spreadsheet:

• Add ID column
• Change “Bridgwater club – Y/N” column entries from A to Y
  • If Y, Add club to “_toolset_association_club-result” column matching Title on website.
    • British Flag CC, Bridgwater -> British Flag Carnival Club
• Remove non-number characters from “Position in Class” Column – Usually just the “=” sign
• Add any cups from the multiple cup columns in a comma separated list into the “_toolset_association_cup-result” column.
  • Alternatively you can use this formula to automatically fill the column (double check cup names match the name used on website or use “Find and Replace” the names to be correct):
    • =TEXTJOIN(“, “,1,G2:L2)

Results Import:

• Use the relevant import template – Procession, Concert or Cup (only used for results that relate to a single cup and nothing else.)
• Ensure the variable names in the import match the spreadsheet
  • {titleofentrypleaseenterincapitals[1]} – Spaces and hyphens are removed from column names
• Use the new ID column for unique identifier
• After import has run go to Toolset > Export/Import – Association Tab and run the import to create the relationships between results and their groups.
